I pen articles that open people's hearts and minds in Jerusalem and beyond. Within our city, I promote democracy, inclusion, accessibility, peace, pluralism and tolerance through my job and activism. I also labor and lobby on the ground to promote the interests and needs of English-speaking immigrants across Jerusalem.
I'm the Director of Communications and Resource Development at the Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace. An inspirational public speaker, I've shared my personal story of turning a breast cancer diagnosis into an Israeli-Palestinian sisterhood with sixty different audiences and organizations, including the US State Department. An editorial consultant, I've helped hundreds of individuals gain admittance to university and publish academic and scholarly writing of the highest caliber.
I'm an American-Israeli journalist, historian, public speaker and peace activist with 30 years of experience building networks and making change. I've got a 20-year-long track record on the boards of nonprofits and working for organizations promoting social justice. Committed to the principles of peace journalism and solutions journalism, I've written for the New York Times, the Atlantic, Washington Post, CNN.com, about inspiring ways to address social ills and cross divides. Some of my articles (and images) have gone viral.
